The good news: We're getting new carpet!!! I have no idea what it'll be like, but I'm sure it'll be nice! The old carpet wasn't in that bad of shape, so I can imagine how nice the new stuff will be! I wonder if they're redoing the dance floor as well?
The bad news: Because they'll be putting in new carpet the weekend of our 8/9/08 dance, we're forced to cancel it. If there are some other activities that you'd like to get together and do, please post them in the forums, and other members can post if they'd like to attend. Lets see if we can get something together for everyone! Bowling? Rollerskating? A movie? Maybe a picnic?
The disco ball is supposed to be getting fixed as well.
Now if we can just talk the church into getting us some AC!!!!

We've decided to change the August 9th dance from a pajama party to a funny hats & glasses party. Find the goofiest hat, the funniest glasses and wear them to the dance! I saw some pretty funny glasses at Spencer's for less than $3.00. Be creative!
As you've probably noticed, most of our dances will be theme dances. Each theme will be displayed on the website in the calendar, in the countdown module, in the "reminder email" and also at the previous dance. All theme dances are "participation NOT required". You do NOT have to dress for the occassion.
